Liver Flush

May 23, 2007 — Leave a comment
here is a good recipe for flushing your liver / supporting your liver:
  • in a blender
  • fresh organic lemon juice
  • fresh organic orange juice
  • fresh organic ginger — 1 or 2 or more 1 to 2 inch slices…
  • olive oil — use raw olive oil like bariani’s or omega nutritionals — just pour a bunch into the blender
  • fresh organic garlic — as much as you can stand like 2 to 5 cloves
  • dash of organic cayenne pepper

just work with this recipe, there are many options…have fun and remember to rinse your mouth after drinking lemon juice due to the acidity not being great for the enamel on your teeth.

1 big tblspoon Coconut butter

1 splash flax seed oil

1 3rd Cup Hemp Seeds

12 oz water

—————> High Speed Blend Till Hemp Seeds are totally broken down – be careful not to overheat the mix by blending too long on high, you can toss in some ice instead of water so you do not overheat.

1 Vanilla Bean Scraped (add the seeds not the pod :-)

12 oz. more water

1 Good splash Maple Syrup

2 Scoops tocos (about 2-4 tbsp heaping)

————–> Whip until smooth ….. mmmmmm Good!

Grapefruit Whip

Been drinking about 1 per day of these … feels great & it feels like it cleans out the stomach with its citrus-ness

  • 1 Grapefruit – cut off hard rind with a knife – leave as much of the white meat on as you can (this is where a lot of the nutrients are) and cut into chunks
  • either half a lemon peeled as above or qtr cup lemon juice
  • 4 drops Valencia orange stevia plus
  • 12oz. filtered water

Put all in the vitamix and whip on high till everything is liquid — approx 30 seconds. (i find it helps to start slow to break down the chunks of grapefruit)

The final consistency is a very light whipped juice – almost a frappe .. enjoy!

mmmm… good

I heard David Wolfe say that he just puts all of his raw food in a blender and has that for a meal so I thought I would give it a try… For the past several days I have been trying this approach and I think I will be further experimenting with the concept. For example, last night I mixed 2 heaping tablespoons of VitaMineral Green, 1 heaping teaspoon each of AFA Extract (brain specific & joint specific), pinch of cayenne pepper, camu camu berry, 2 tablespoons of frozen wheatgrass juice, 1 banana, some frozen organic cherries, fresh and frozen organic blueberries, frozen organic strawberries, liquid Ionic minerals in the water I used to blend the smoothie and I think that was about it. That’s about 30 some odd ingredients… It made me feel really good. The taste was OK as well…deep green aromas dominated as I put a lot of VitaMineral Green in the mix. The smoothie yielded just less than 1 liter of blended food. As I am a fast oxidizer, the smoothie did not hold very long and burned off fairly quickly. That may be because I did not have any oil or high protein in the smoothie. Next time I will add coconut oil and some additional protein and see what happens. Try it!
